@cappstv they do have the hybrid, if you watch one of the trailers you see it grab a dead humans head with its big claw then like eat it. then you see it roar and its a pred mixed with a alien
if you mean you cant play as the predalien or alien/predator cross breed you would be wrong in multiplayer you can play as the character but only as a skin for the predator.
i pre-ordered!! u get the alien mask for the predator character some guyy for the marines and this like badass blue big ass alien with a 6 on its head. haha. it's pretty sweet i can't wait. i just wish that the predator played more like riddick from chronicles of riddick so his arms arnt' up on the screen all the time. it makes it more realistic ya know. chronicles of riddick is badass by the way.

And the AVP movies fucked up so much, that they are now making new Alien and Predator movies- Ridley and Tony Scott are doing an Alien prequel and Robert Rodriguez is doing "Predators", the third movie in the Predator series. I don't see an AVP3 movie coming out any time soon becuase of their bad reputation.

Well I think this game has no story, so nothing new then, the same "Oh wow look what I can do!!!" bullshit etc. I think most of you are little kids and only grew up with the avp movies BOOOOOOOOOOOOO to all of you!!
AVP the movie had it's flaws, but the film did have cool special effects, Grid Vs Celtic, Scar vs Queen and the setting was pretty cool too. But AVP-R.....holy sh-t that movie was so f--king retarded that even if you like bad movies you'll still hate this film, because when you press play you won't beable to see shit..
The directors had advice to make the lighting a little darker to enhance the scary atmosphere...but they must have tried a little too much. I give them credit for trying though.
Give them credit for what? Paul Anderson was forced to make AVP PG-13 and from what he had to work with that falls under trying. Strause Brothers had the freedom to make AVP-R rated R and still managed to f--k up every single scene and shot. They made extremely fatal and careless mistakes with AVP-R. But who cares, Predator 3 might be getting Neil Marshall as the director and this new AVP game should make up for the ass rape AVP-R was.

no im saying i wanted it to be third person so you could see the predator/alien fully. its just my personal preference, i've never liked 1st person even shooters like COD, I always prefer to see the full person like in games like Assassins Creed, Army Of 2 and Metal Gear Solid.
I cant even believe they made that new Riddick game 1st person because its like, you play the game to BE Riddick, and the thing about Riddick is that he looks cool (like predator/aliens) so I'd rather it be 3rd person to see the full character, not just a gun swaying about on the screen.
Who cares? You actually think that seeing your character enhances gameplay, or the fact you're going to be in first person, not being able to see around corners without actually being there, being able to see your flashlight. etc. etc.
oh sorry and yeah, iv never played any of the AVP games (dont know why they look awesome) but after having looked at concrete jungle, id prefer it to be 3rd person like that IMO.
let me say it like this, if you've played the AvP2 (the previous one) you'll LOVE both the aliens and the predator. As aliens you can basically crawl on ANYTHING your screen flips upside down as you crawl in the ceilings and walls. REALLY awesome :) in fact at first it's confusing because you gotta keep track of where you are but OMG love both of them!
I dont think you get to choose to be a hunter/prey I think it depends on who you're messing with aswell :P on hard I can imagine everybody easily becomming a prey :p
Like i said, my tagline is better. "Hunter,Killer,Warrior,which will you be. Hunter: Kill for self honor, Killer: Destroy life for no puropse, a rouge fighter, Warrior: Fight for the innocent.
As Pred u can be a hunter, but you can be a Warrior if you want to destroy the alien infection since human colonists are the innocents here. Or kill everthing in sight, like a Killer would. Alien could only be either Hunter or Killer. Human is only either Warrior or Hunter!!! ):)
You have a good tag line but a key feeling in the AVP franchise is fear. And Hunter, Killer, Warrior, indicates that it is just about slaughtering each other which is true for Aliens and Preds but not for humans.
It's saying that if you're a predator what will you be? Hunter: kill the humans and aliens. Survivor: survive the oncoming onslaught. Prey: get killed by the hands of a human or alien. Same principle for the other two species.
u didnt play teh first 2 did you? predators were by far the weakest race suprisingly. Aliens were fast and hard 2 hit, marines have awesum weaponary and predators are uselss against aliens really.
Yeah but one predator cant take 2 minigun weilding marines out at once...the other marine will kill the predator unless he is sneaky. Plus marines have the motion trackers. ALIENS then MARINES then PREDATORS even tho preds are the coolest
I think the need to make the predators better in hand to hand combat with the aliens cause with out their plasma canons they are not are awesome as the should be.

i remember the alien vs predator 2, most scaryest game i ever played, the marine campagne was awesome(when that radar starts to ping brrrrr)...my friend was playng the game on my PC and he fell of the chair when an alien jumped in front of him...

no im saying i wanted it to be third person so you could see the predator/alien fully. its just my personal preference, i've never liked 1st person even shooters like COD, I always prefer to see the full person like in games like Assassins Creed, Army Of 2 and Metal Gear Solid.

I cant even believe they made that new Riddick game 1st person because its like, you play the game to BE Riddick, and the thing about Riddick is that he looks cool (like predator/aliens) so I'd rather it be 3rd person to see the full character, not just a gun swaying about on the screen.

Who cares? You actually think that seeing your character enhances gameplay, or the fact you're going to be in first person, not being able to see around corners without actually being there, being able to see your flashlight. etc. etc.

let me say it like this, if you've played the AvP2 (the previous one) you'll LOVE both the aliens and the predator. As aliens you can basically crawl on ANYTHING your screen flips upside down as you crawl in the ceilings and walls. REALLY awesome :) in fact at first it's confusing because you gotta keep track of where you are but OMG love both of them!

Playing as The Marines looks as if it's going to be a pain in the ass, especially on the harder difficulty, oh well it should be a challenge.
Hopefully the developers made the races somewhat even.
Early 2010, that feels so long just to wait for a video game, I hope it's worth the wait.

Like i said, my tagline is better. "Hunter,Killer,Warrior,which will you be. Hunter: Kill for self honor, Killer: Destroy life for no puropse, a rouge fighter, Warrior: Fight for the innocent.
As Pred u can be a hunter, but you can be a Warrior if you want to destroy the alien infection since human colonists are the innocents here. Or kill everthing in sight, like a Killer would. Alien could only be either Hunter or Killer. Human is only either Warrior or Hunter!!! ):)

But the main story for the marines is just to survive. In AVP 2 the marine campaign was so f-ing scary because everything could kill you.

You have a good tag line but a key feeling in the AVP franchise is fear. And Hunter, Killer, Warrior, indicates that it is just about slaughtering each other which is true for Aliens and Preds but not for humans.

It's saying that if you're a predator what will you be? Hunter: kill the humans and aliens. Survivor: survive the oncoming onslaught. Prey: get killed by the hands of a human or alien. Same principle for the other two species.

u didnt play teh first 2 did you? predators were by far the weakest race suprisingly. Aliens were fast and hard 2 hit, marines have awesum weaponary and predators are uselss against aliens really.
Yeah but one predator cant take 2 minigun weilding marines out at once...the other marine will kill the predator unless he is sneaky. Plus marines have the motion trackers. ALIENS then MARINES then PREDATORS even tho preds are the coolest

I think "prey" was referring to the humans, where as "survivor" was the aliens. At least that's my take on it.
