  • This is by far the best tutorial. Its so easy to understand!

  • on the first row how many? inside circle is it single or double?

  • i have never made a hat. all i have done is scarves and blankets but this is the most incredible video ever and the easiest one to understand. THANK YOU!!! you made it easy and simple to understand I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!!

  • I made a hat for myself..thanks for the video

  • I have all of the videos in order, if anyone would like the list :-)

  • @BrandyTrick

Thanks I would like the list in order...

  • i have noticed that a lot of people start the hat differently. is there a difference? i have seen videos where they start with the rim and move all the way inside.

  • so far so good...

  • Haha.......she's spamming us all.....each video she puts up she gets more hits - and more so if she shows ONE ROW on each video!! WHAT A BLATANT SPAMMER..

  • YOUR VIDEO WAS VERY HELPFULL !! THANK U !!

  • This is the first time crocheting a hat, and thanks to you!!! You are very analytic and clear, thank you very much again!!

  • I frakin suck at this

  • @pinky12351 me too

  • @pinky12351 i know how you feel.

  • Thank you so much for posting these videos you helped me learn to crochet. This was so easy to understand. I finished my first hat the other day for my little girl. It turned out great! Thanks again. :) (I used needle size G/6-4.25mm my hat turned out fantastic)

  • Thank you so much for posting these videos you helped me learn to crochet. This was so easy to understand. I finished my first hat the other day for my little girl. It turned out great! Thanks again. :)

  • whats the size of the needle

    \

  • sooo I followed these videos and my hat doesnt even fit my damn head >:-/

yea thanx for telling us the sizeof the needle

  • Am I the only guy here who knows how to crochet? I didn't want to learn my grandma taught me by the way

  • I think for those if you who want good directions, slow motion- watch-tjw1963

She is very good. I crochet and didn't see any needle size on this. Just follow the recommendation on the yarn.

  • I've crocheted ONCE before in my life, years ago. I was able to pick it back up almost immediately watching this video. Thanks!

  • Is there an easy way to find the videos in order?! It's frustrating trying to find which one is next.

  • only problem is...SHE NEVER SAYS WHAT SIZE NEEDLE SHES USING T^T

  • to anyone watching this video, you /have/ to use the same needle shes using or you wont get the same product in the end, anything bigger and you just get a big toilet seat cover lookin thing.....

  • Her voice annoyed me

  • this is great cant wait to get started!!

  • i love to crochet

  • I can't get the loop...

  • It's also possible to start with a magic circle. That way you don't have a small little gap up at the top of the hat.

  • umm.....

  • @TheAlejandraaaaaa you should probably look up left handed crochet videos.

  • what the hell? this is too fiddley

  • Is this hat about a child size? Beacuse im trying to make an adult hat and it keeps turning itno a beanie, ive started over many times. :O please help.

  • I'm left handed... what do I do?!!!

  • I wish you had numbered your videos. Difficult to fine next or follow up video

  • @anoor555 I ABSOLUTELY AGREE, I GAVE UP ON ev CROCHET LESSONS BECAUSE THEY RARELY NUMBER THE TUTS.

  • Thanks for this video. I crochet my first hat and I showed my hat to all the girls in the office. I am a crochet beginner.

  • what size of the needle are you using? please answer back. thank you! :D

  • Thank you so much, I'm sure this will help me a lot but, you wouldn't happen to know how to crochet little kitten ears also? :\

  • This is so great! Using this pattern I made loads of beanies! My friends and family thank you...lol!

  • This is about learning to crochet a hat. Not how to crochet from scratch. There is no need to go so slow if viewers have taken the time to learn how to 'chain', 'single crochet' etc etc. Once you know the basics, you can come back to this video and understand better. That's what I did.

Oh, and there's a pause button just in case you REALLY struggle.

  • @jax3294 how much slower can she go? This is a great video. I've never touched a crochet needle before b/c I knit, and of all of the videos I've watched, hers is easiest to understand. Your hostility is a little unnecessary. I'm just saying =\.

  • u go super fast

  • Thanks for this! I almost bought a beginner's book from the fabric store..But you make it so much easier!!

  • what weight woolis this?

    and what size hook?

great video very easy and im a beginner its not hard at all. my verion of this hat was with dk wool and 6mm hook not bad but not as holey as this one. i want to get it like the one in the vid.

  • This really helped, I was so lost but know I'll be warm this Minnesota winter.

  • i can't do it :(

  • I followed all of the videos to make this hat. Thank you! You worked at a slow, even pace and explained each step throughout. This hat was my second attempt at crochet- I've only done one other scarf- and you made it easy start to finish. I look forward to more tutorials from you! :-)

  • What size crochet hook is this? I used a 6.5MM and its wavy not flat...

  • i think you should use 5 mm crochet stick.. that's what i use and isn't .6.5 mm a liitle to big to make it flat?

and also here a tip to make it flat you usually put it through the middle. right? but to make it look nicer you put to the top hole!

  • I am a begginer in Crochet, and your videos are great and easy yo understand !!! Thanks so much !!

  • Thanks for the great videos. I finished my first hat with help from these instruction, plus a little bit of creativity. :)

  • no you were not thought wrong. everyone crochets differently.

  • Was i taught wrong? I was taught that when you make the slip stich the tail should make the stich looser and the working string should make it tighter. hers is the oposite. I make crochet hats but mine are nothing like these (good or bad thing i wonder?).

  • I love this video but my advice is to go a bit slower.Thank you so much though!!<3

  • Also a good technic is to start by measuring around the head for the desired size and taking away until you get to the top... so bottom to top.

  • what's the size of that needle?

  • @hg1bbs there are other videos.

  • Great job teaching- but slower is better! Remember- you rock at it, we are tools at it!

    Wait time is great!

  • Your videos are WONDERFUL! You explain it so clearly and the camera is consistently focused on your work. THANK YOU!! I hope you continue to do more videos!

  • this was so helpful! thank you!

I made one of my daughters a hat using these instructions and after the border I used the method for adding width shown in the first few videos then doing a count of 1,2,1,2,1,3 double stitch crochets...then one more row of the 1,2 count and it made a cute little flower petal looking brim. She loves it and I'm so grateful for these videos. Thanks again!

  • A++ For the gal who step by step helped me make a hat. I followed her for 4 hours till I finished it...pauseing quit alot...haha. Dont know her name but she made the blue hat with the green border...she explained well...could see what she was doing nice and clear...Great job...Hope to see you on other crocheting projects....Wanda Blairsville Pa

  • Thank you so much for this video. It was great.

  • this is good, my lil sis wants 2 crochet a hat for herself...now she has an instructor to help her. ^___^

    THANK U!

  • Thanks for this video. I've been trying to crochet for a year now and this I just couldn't understand by reading the instructions. But, watching this video has made the difference. Now I can crochet my children the hats they have been asking for. Do you have any videos on how to crochet mittens? Again, thanks sooooo much!!!
