why do they leave the lights on in european halls? (as opposed our halls) don't like it! like to focus on what's on stage-- not everybody in the hall. anybody know? I like the long haired conductor--reminds me of Anton Rubenstein--looks cool on conductors!

I actually didn't like him. Not only were his facial expressions obnoxious and didn't follow the music, his violin whines....
