  • good luck with the playin' - its not easy - Johnson

  • im 16 and putting "shredding" rock aside *anyone can do it) and learning/focusing on rag-time, now that's impressive challenge ;)

  • Nice !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks for watching and commenting - johnson

  • sir johnson - i never heard this one - johannson did it? sound ethereal

  • thanks for watching friend - Johnson

  • Mr. Hogg, well done and inspiring. I've had these arrangements for years, but have only managed to get Midnight Momma under my fingers. Why the capo? I assume to accommodate the D# stretch on the fourth bar of the first measure (not counting the intro). You make it look effortless, thanks for sharing.

    PJ

  • Yes PJ - I use the capo if it makes the piece easier for me to play and if I still have enough frets without getting too high up the neck. This piece is all played around the first frets so no problem to use capo . I dont need the key to be exact - same for Little Rock Getaway which I quite like a few keys up. Thanks for your comment and subscription and hope to see your stuff on youtube soon.

  • Wonderful playing again. Just makes me more and more jealous lol. Than ks for posting

  • Thanks Bluesman, I value your comment

  • Nice going JohnsonHogg!!

Say, do you use just fingertips....or some

    times finger-NAILS ?? smooth sound

  • I sent a message to your mail box David,

I dont use fingertips or thumb add on's. I find that by just keeping control and not letting the nails get more than 3 or 4 mm long ( overhang ) is best. One can be quite proud of long nails ( half an inch or more overhang ) however ( for me ) just become easier to break. Need them "just " long enough (3 to 4 mm ) and keep them like that

    Johnson

  • It's always a pleasure listening your music choice archive

  • Thanks Acousticland, you are too kind

  • Great Work - very enjoyable!

  • Thanks again Anthony

  • Wow, this is just such a cool little piece - and I love the little fill at 1:08. Perfection again! You don't post much but it's worth waiting for!

  • Thanks for your nice remarks. I will put another one on soon when I find a couple of free hours.

    Thanks again

  • I really like this piece, can you tell me where to get the tab from please ?
