Though some people learn a lot faster than others for sure. Whether those jumping into drums had experience with other instruments, or even with music games that required perfect musical timing to do well [IIDX, DDR, etc] helps in *some* ways. I dunno, I don't drum (yet, that is), but drumming on things just comes naturally for me - every time somebody sits me in front of a drum set, and they teach me stuff, I get it REALLY fast, and do pretty ok.

yea when i first started the drums on RB i used my arms and rested my foot on the bass and i always got winded before the song was over. now watching NoodsNoodles videos for about 4 months using your wrists and not resting your foot on the bass i can play a lot better and hit the drums so much faster without getting winded all the time. it just takes practice like " clarkus1993 " said.

He isnt a real drummer.. His form isnt perfect you know... Not that most drummers are... But not to toot my own horn but drumming has given me a pretty nice grip and foot posistion... AND resting your feet on the bass peadl make your hitting more precise for complex patterns... SO i use both methods, rested for hard stuff, and heel up for endurance. :)

Use your wrists, not your arms, don't slam your pads, and rest your foot on the bass when you aren't using it. Other than that, it pretty much all comes with practice.

sure the rockband 2 dum kit works for rockband 1 but better idea is buy rockband 1 buy a licencse to copy songs in to rb2 for 400 ms points or something like that and after that you can play most songs for rb2
