i dont even know if i AM suffering from what people call an "overactive mind"
okay, basically im always talking (not to myself, in particular, just talking) and everytime i try to STOP talking a random song will pop up in my head or something and i will just sing that song in my head (for the whole day usually) also i feel like im always staring at the images assosciated with whatever im thinking like if im thinking about food i staring at a pic of the kitchen haha so is this an overactivemind
@joneswifey05 Sorry to hear that, this has helped thousands but there isnt a technique that works for everyone or I would be very rich LOL but keep on searching for the answer and I hope you find something that works for you.
@TheLifeDoctor121 Its not your fault. I just can't seem to get over my anxiety. I have it over everything. I just had surgery 2 weeks ago for my gallbladder and it seems to have gone down a bit but not as much as Id like.. I have been put on xanax and that helps a lil bit as well I just hope to get this under control soon enough.
@joneswifey05 Just wondering, are you moving your eyes around around at all when softly focusing forward? The eye movements can access those thoughts you dont want but when focusing forward and aware of the your periphal area then it does find it harder. I would also suggest learning to breath correctly from deep down from your stomach and holding for seven slow seconds and releasing. Im going to post another video shortly about anxiety and I hope this helps you in another way.
Thank you very much for the videos. They are a great help. I am a generally negative person, and I have alot of anxiety as a result. I was wondering if there was any techniques that could change my negative thinking into a positive route?
I found it good but have glasses making this & tapping more difficult so I use the glasses as left & right & remove them for tapping. My sinuses like tapping a lot lol
hahaha that is so awesome! And it WORKED! I always heard, "Live in the moment" but I never really knew how to even *be* in the moment until I watched this video. Thanks! =D
This reminds me somewhat of The Headless Way developed by Douglas Harding. Very interesting!
