Hey Guys. Check out Man.v.Food.S03e04Cleveland, Ohio part 2 on youtube. At the end of the episode, a guy holds up a T-Shirt that goes to the challange winner that's a total ripoff of the KISS ARMY logo. Can you say copyright infringment.
Great Song! I don't know who made the decision not to put this song on an album, but they're an idiot. This song doesn't need any work. Album Rock stations would love to play this song. Especially at night.
@Venom101002 Yeah man. I was really bummed out after hearing this title pop up in magazines, before the album's release, and then it wasn't on it, when it was. This version is missing some added production that would give it a good edge, but I like it. It definitely would've been a great addition to the album.
Doro does a kick-ass version of this song. I wish Kiss had actually released it on an album. Gene needed some better song during this run and this would have done that.
Doro has this song on her 1990 self titled cd "doro" that gene simmons produced. Not to offend any kisss fans as doro is a huge kiss fan, but doro did this song a lot better but i think because her voice is more witchy and that is what this song needed and I guess gene knew that too! I woiuld like to see Kiss and Doro do a duet kinda like lita ford and ozzy did!
The song was Demoed for HITS...Gene gave the song to Doro Pesch for her first solo album...another tidbit of information...on the Doro version, current KISS lead guitar player, Tommy Thayer, played the solo.
No kiddin' dude. You don't know how long I looked and waited to find this one though. I was so disappointed years ago, when they gave the title in an interview, then never released it. I always loved the title. I still think they are holding onto the proper version somewhere.
Well I could be wrong. I was going from memory and the date on the Doro CD. The date on the CD was 1990, so I guess it could've been HITS. I was thinking it was an older song though. Sorry.
Sure, no problem man. I've been a huge KISS fan for years. I know I love finding little rarities like that. I wish there were more on here. Thanks for watching and rating.
Yeah, great albums. I'm looking for "Mirage" by Gene Simmons myself. I'm a big collector of these things. If Simmons ever releases his boxed set, we might get a few more of those gems.
The Wendy album is practically an unreleased treasure trove of KISS tunes. If you need the original "It's My Life" demo rom 1982 (the one Wendy used for her version) just drop me a line. I've got a ton more...
That was another great song. I have a Gene Simmons demo disc, but it doesn't have that one either. Any one of these songs could've been classics for them. I have the 1982 It's My Life. I looked and waited forever for that one. I'm still amazed these didn't end up on a KISS album. What a shame.
I believe Tommy Thayer played lead guitar on the version of this song that ended up on Doro's album, which is full of unused KISS tunes. Nice find!
I know the re-written version of "Only You" also exists with Gene singing the alternate lyrics, heard that at a Gene Simmons spoken word thingy years ago. Thanks for posting this!
No problem man. I'd love to find some of the other songs you mentioned in their demo form. He did the same with Wendy O. Williams too. The 2 biggest ones I'm lookin' for are Rock On (Black N Blue /Doro), and Legends Never Die (Wendy O. Williams/King Kobra). If I could find KISS or Gene's demos of those 2, I'd be in Rock N Roll Heaven. Thanks for watchin' and subscribin'. I'm still new at this, so bear with me. Keep rockin'. Peace.

Doro sings this song a whole lot better than Gene does here.
Gene does other songs well, like "Dr.Love" & "Domino". :)

This would've improved HITS by a couple of notches

By the way... Compare this song to Junkhead by Alice In Chains.

@danney99 Yeah, they are similar. I'm pretty sure the KISS one was written before AIC's song. It may just be a coincidense. The world may never know.

@danney99 AIC are big Kiss fans. They may have had a bootleg of this.

A shame Kiss didn't do a proper version of this. (with the sound of the doro version) It's an awesome song!

It's my life would've fit well on Sonic Boom, I wonder what made them decide to no use it? That would've been a hit.
