Although I think this part is kinda funny in a sick sort of way. I find this really disparaging against the military and Veterans in general. This guy is obviously commiting war crimes and I doubt this happened in Vietnam with officer pilots letting it go on. I think this is an example of Hollywood's deep hatered and distain for the uniformed serviceman.

yeah it may seem that way, but every war has its own number of war crimes from the carnage that goes on, and hollywood just couldn't leave it out for this one.

@FaceGenital Dude actually I have to disagree with you. I'm sure this kind of stuff happened all the time in 'nam. My father told me some pretty sick stories about what officers would do sometimes. Many of the US soldiers were very frustrated because of the hit and run tactics, booby traps, and tunnel works all used by the VC (all used to great effect). It was very upsetting to fight an enemy who would repeatedly ambush and strike at unforseen moments and when you tried to return fire, they ran
