  • what is the diffrence between coiler and non coiler

  • @1919938 the Coiler Boa automatically take in the slack where as the non coliler Boa has to all be done by hand. Boots with the Coiler tech is definitely worth the extra cash.

  • @thehouseboardshop can someone please reveiw the 2012 dc judge, thanks

  • @1919938 Thanks for the suggestion I will Add it to the list.

  • Can you tell me how this boot compares to the DC status, I just ordered a Dark Series C2 BTX Power Banana and I'm looking at the status, ion, or driver x, with my targa bindings.

  • @law67yan I have not had a chance ride the DC status boa boots, I tried some on and I ended up getting the Driver X. I have a wider foot and like all dc boots they ran a little small. But all and all I wish I would have gotten the Burton Ions. They are not as stiff as the Driver X or Status, but they offer all the support you need for all mountain riding.

  • Awesome, but why so expensive? Maybe next year :/

  • I hear alot of you guys asking about the hefty price. I bought a pair of ion's about 5 yrs ago maybe less and will never ride in anything else. The price sucks but you get what you pay for. I have skinny legs and always my feet and calfs hurt like hell after a couple hours. Since I got the ions and burton cartel bindings I was putting in 8 hour days and begging for more. These boots are SICK! in my opinion you wont find any better. > 30 yr old male boarding for 15 yrs and ski from 3 to 15

  • How well will these fit into snowshoes?

  • @zeal4adventure not sure but I guessing they might be a little big for snowshoes. Personally I use boots like the Columbia Bugaboot Plus Hiking Boots, or Hitec Jackson Hole 400 Casual Boots Dk.

  • are these boots really worth 400$'s? or would it be a better deal to not get such a expensive boot?

  • @crazy1kid2 A lot of the guys in the shop ride these and they totally love them? If you think you going to thrash the boots you may want to get something a little cheaper or perhaps last years model.

  • @thehouseboardshop Is there a noticable factor when riding these compared to Burton Imperials. Im on your site and cant decide if I want to go upper and get ions or save money on Imperials. Is it worth the big tag?

  • @crazy1kid2 Depends on your passion of boarding and wallet.... They are sick boots....Best I think

  • @crazy1kid2 Yes, for the guy who rides alot. The Ion's have a better liner (level 4) with moisture wicking tech a InfiniFit Liner Sole. It also has a level 3 EVA heat molded foot bed with AutoCANT Cardinal Cushioning. The support level on the Ion is a 8 where the imperial is a 7.

  • how do these compare to the 2009? my uncle gave me a brand new pair because they didnt fit him and i havnt gotten a chance to use them, but theyre a little big. would it be worth getting new ones and giving the 09 ones to my brother, or should i just deal with a boot thats a little big. basically, is there enough upgrades on the 2012 that i should upgrade just because of fit.

  • @BuyASkateboard The 2009 Ion's are a great boot, if you still growing they would be worth keeping, but it is very important to have a boot that fits right. otherwise you are going to lose tones of responsiveness. If they fit your brother better give em up, he will owe you big time.

  • can you tell the price of them that you guys are selling them for so i dont have to go back and forth

  • @TheSurfboarder 399.95
