Contrary to what most people say, I actually think Home Alone 3 is about as good as the first two parts. Sure, for fans of the original cast it may be a bit hard getting used to the new kid and new villains, but the acting is okay and the traps are pretty awesome. I also just love the fact that four high tech, expert criminals are getting their asses kicked by a kid :P

But as you said, I enjoyed some of the new traps, and the idea of a kid against four criminals (instead of two) with all their fancy gadgets, yet he still beats them. And I always LOVED the RC car parts. I asked my parents for a car just like that a million times growing up.

See Home Alone 3 is a good film, funny and well acted. It felt different than 1 and 2, but it's a good film on it's own and below average compared to HA 1 and 2.

Home Alone 4 is one of the worst films of all time, and Rod Daniel (Director) never directed another movie since, lol. Check out his IMDB and his track record stops with Home Alone 4. Proof enough Home Alone 4 is the Hollywood equivalent of AIDS.

The first movie was brilliant and funny, the only problem was that a little 8 year old was able to do all that clever damage to 2 very dangerous adults, the problem with the second film... was the same exact thing as the first film, same characters, same story, same problems, etc. Home Alone 3, A whole new setting, all of the character's were replaced., I know the second film has no change of character at all, but this is going way too far, lame writing too, Home Alone 4.... NO, NO, NO, AHHHHHH!
