Dell Xeon Precision Workstation 690

I'm getting a Dell Precision 690 quite soon. Does anyone think it will run today's games with ease? Help would be much appreciated!

I have a Precision 690 that I use for HD gaming! Two Quad-core Xeon processors 3.73ghz, 14gb ram, 1 tb hard drive, and a Radeon 5870 1gb graphics card. Works great!

@krokonosh Oh you dont need to know the service tag. I can tell you exactly what kind of processors to put in it. You can use anything in the Xeon 5000 and 5100 series. I recommend the 5080, which is what I have. They are double threaded dual core processors, so they show up in windows as a quad core, and have about the same performance. with two of them, it has 8 virtual cores. The 5080 runs at 3.733ghz

I've tried to install a hard drive to my dell 690 using a windows xp dell edition disk. It freezes right at the point when it asks you to press "enter" to install. In fact the whole computer freezes needing it to be unplugged to turn it off. Any suggestions??

They didn't mention that the M90 and M65 mobile workstations now have SATA hard drives or that the 690 and 490 use SAS hard drives... These things are badass! If you get the dual video card SLI in a 690, the power supply is a THOUSAND FREAKIN' WATTS!
