dude ur shooting mechanism is all wrong u shud be shooting actual projectiles not flat steel plates lol try to place it in some direction other than upwards u can create a powerful metal arrow shooter in essence ud be building the worlds first rail gun i guess just make sure to give it enough juice and to have electrical equipment that can take it railguns are awesome i tried to make some myself but i cudnt miniaturize them i managed to create a powerful box railgun its silent and recoiless

lol sorry for my typing errors im usually in a hurry thats why i dont really bother but anyway its supposed to be a little like "they invented 1 railgun to 2 years ago" and it really works it has the after effects of plasma and is costly both in the r&d department and costly as in it takes and unbelievable amount of electromagnetism and in turn electricity to fire even 1 projectile but still the cool plasma makes it worth it lol anyway the proof is on wikipedia just look for railgun article
