PA. 2008 An ACORN employee in West Reading, PA, was sentenced to up to 23 months in prison for identity theft and tampering with records. A second ACORN worker pleaded not guilty to the same charges and is free on $10,000 bail.

I'm not suggesting that we shouldn't be able to defend ourselves, our families, and our property and Obama isn't trying to take away your guns...but lets be honest....you live in Portland, OR and I live in Queens, NY no doubtably a rougher area, and you're the one claiming to need a gun to protect yourself. I also agree with that the second Amendment needs to be upheld...but with discretion. TUNEDUP81 lives in Portland, OR and I'm sure their is some great hunting around that area. However, most people with guns in NYC do not have them for hunting animals. And where Obama lives, in South CHI, I bet that same holds true. The fact is, in large cities, their needs to be some sort of regulation regarding guns.

in response to TUNEDUP81, I live in Queens, NY and have voted for Bush twice. However, we are on the verge of losing Roe V Wade, and 1 more conservative appointment to the Supreme Ct will overturn that decision. As a country we can not go backwards, and that is exactly what a McCain presidency would do. Also, have Wasila's local Mom as leader of the free world in the event anything should happen to McCain scares the hell out of me.

Yes, he did say that 5% of the cards had an error, that does not necessarily mean they were all fraudulent errors.
Even if they were all fraudulent errors, that does not mean that there will be any voter fraud. The point I try to make in the video is that Sen. McCain is misleading the public when he conflates voter registration fraud and voter fraud.

Sometimes I feel like people view this election more as some sort of horror-mystery-suspense movie rather than a sober, reasoned decision making process. The "blogosphere" is full of people who think they're Sherlock Holmes. It's astounding to see how gullible and ready people are to accept falsehoods and egregious stretching of truth as some sort of corroborating "evidence" for their conspiracy theories. Sadly, this is all indicative of a failed educational system.

I hardly think that somebody would say that about somebody that he thinks incites fear mongering to win the election. Your thoughts are not precise and making vague statements that "using fear to make people believe that acorn will steal the election is a problem." First, Acorn was being investigated for voter fraud and rightfully so. The issue is that Acorn might be engaging in voter fraud, and John Mccain is simply raising that question. You didnt even try to refute the argument that John Mccain made at 5:20. Second the quote on general Powell is not in context and is cut similar to the robocalls.

1. As explained, voter fraud is not the same as voter registration fraud. There are no investigations into ACORN voter fraud.
2. Voter fraud is a false issue. Sen. McCain knows the difference, or he should know the difference.

Yes, I am specifically calling out Sen. McCain, Gov. Palin, and the Republican Party leadership for using hate and fear during this election. I am not saying that any of these views represent the "majority of people on the right". I am very specific about who is trying to incite the hate and fear. Their tactics are working--they are clearly affecting some of their followers. I never claim it is a majority, but the effect is significant.
