As we all know-in most cases, the girl never leaves the guy for quite some time-so tou may hear another fight down the road. Call the cops and tell the girl that she Can make a change-she just has to tell herself not to be afraid of change!

Trust me when I say, that despite the fact that the girl said everything was fine, deep down, she is glad you called-and it is good for girls in bad situations to see that OTHER guys think and know its wrong! The cops aren't dumb, but legally, unless she wants to press charges, there often isn't much they can do-but none the less-you did the best thing!

As a savior of DV I commend you ! to be a witness is the greatest gift you can give! an amazing woman helped me she had moved three hours away but she drove that distance twice to testifie in court she told me she wanted to show her daughters "the right thing" one of them had witnessed the beating with her and remembered it as the most violent thing she had ever seen.

sadly, this side of the abuse often goes ignored or made to be 'not such a big deal' which is sad and wrong. women can be abusers as well.
