i actually met marty mcsorely outside of the staples center a year back when i went to see my favorite team, the Penguins play my 2nd favorite team the Kings. Really nice guy actually, i was surprised that an enforcer such as him was so genuinely nice. I am a mcsorely fan because of his year with pittsburgh and his years with the Kings. Brashear is a piece of shit so as far as im concerned i wish this hit would have injured him worse.

Brashear was being a dick and ran over all of McSorley's best players and when he confronted Brashear, he refused to answer to the Code and fight. So with about 2 seconds left in the game McSorley tried to hit his shoulder but missed. He was so desperate at the end because at the time, there was a 10 game suspension for fighting after the final buzzer.

lol you obviously haven't played before because you don't know how much it costs to play. Football and basketball are very cheap to get into. Another factor I didn't mention, the areas in which hockey is the dominant sport growing up are predominantly white. What about Jerome Iginla? wow are you ever a dumbass. There are some pretty simple reasons why more blacks don't play hockey. Number 1, it is considered a white sport so blacks don't participate in it for that reason. Number 2, hockey costs A LOT of money to play. Have you every even played? $500 for a good pair of skates alone. You cannot honestly tell me given the way blacks have dominated nearly every sport, that they couldn't excel in hockey. Jerome Iginla=one of the best current players.

Brashear was being a dick and ran over all of McSorley's best players and when he confronted Brashear, he refused to answer to the Code and fight. So with about 2 seconds left in the game McSorley tried to hit his shoulder but missed. He was so desperate at the end because at the time, there was a 10 game suspension for fighting after the final buzzer.

i've played hockey for 14 years and ya it was a dumb play by McSorley but the bottom line is if someone confronts you to fight, you respond. It doesn't mean you absolutely have to fight, he could've atleast said no to the fight.
Besides i said "McSorley TRIED to hit his should but missed". I wouldn't ever two-hand anyone. everyone was pissed this happened but to McSorley's credit it was an accident.
