Polygamy is for weak minded individuals lacking strength of character. Sin has been prevalent since the beginning of time, that hasn't changed. What has changed (in an adverse spiral) is individuality & resilience. People today are weak but most importantly everyone lacks individuality. I may very well be the last individual on this planet.. Respect, vows (your word), loyalty & love are all fluid concepts these days. Sad isn't it? We can't even accept ourselves.. how can we respect others?
Biblical standards are still the same its just that there is more sin in the world and aids is man made disease and there is a cure for it(they just want people to spend money on getting treated)
