if i were to critique anything on the singing, i think you should work on staying in tune when you skip around -you have a beautiful voice, but sometimes you go way out of tune :) but other wise it was very well done! love the song. one of my favorite nightwish songs!

Stop comparing Anette to Tarja, they don't use the same VOCALS TECHNIC!!! Tarja was a lyric singer, and sang (and still sings) with a LYRIC voice, i don't know what you say in english, but in french it's the head voice. Although, Anette uses chest voice, which can do better the deep voice.

And Anette's Ever Dream version is very good, so -_-"

Nice cover. There's a great deal of talent there. A couple thoughts: You have the music down, but it gets in the way of the singer. Tone it down. She's excellent, but needs more control - she sounds like she's singing through a spinning fan. Don't try to imitate Nightwish, make the song your own.

I hope you don't mind unsolicited advice, but I like this song, I can play it on the keyboards too, and I love to hear it done well.

Respectfully, I must disagree. I saw your other vids. You can hit the higher registers without losing pitch or tone. But something's missing. Perhaps it's your breathing technique. But you're very well suited for these songs. Keep in mind that Tarja was a classically trained soprano. If you trained - not necessarily opera - I think you will be extremely successful. Sing with your heart and soul. Give it all you got.

And if you hate the songs, please don't sing them.

Guys, i like what your doing here but one bit of advice, you need the rocking spirit, what really brings down a house is the attidude of the band, notice how in nightwish concerts, Tarja would move around,(well now going to be annette) and so would marco. dont completely mimick what they do but make sure you have spirit, move around and look like your having fun, this will rile up the audience.

Nice one, I'll give you 3 stars. 1) The drums doesnt feel heavy-metal'ish 2) Your bassist should play harder on the strings! 3) You lack a male voice in the last chorus!
