Hey I had one that walked at the end of her 6th month due to her brothers and sisters. She is not bull legged and also had good chest muscles. Now, what I was really impressed with was our Neigbors who had their baby potty trained at 6 months. That meant at 6 months they recongiized the time to put them on a pot and they went. No kidding! Now that is great to me They told me the secret was the look on their face and a routine diet and sleep pattern. Lucky them.

this is so cool...it can happen. Apparently i walked at 6 months with no support, crawling at 4. I think some babies just learn to coordinate their legs and arms faster. All babies are different. I heard that crawling is essential for their learning and development though..the whole cross coordinating and exploring on the floor and if that step is missed it is not good.
@BrookietheKiwi I never crawled and have a degree and vet med certificate and will hopefully be doing my PhD when my children are at school. So no if you miss out crawling it doesn't make you a retard or even close to it.

6 months walking is very early, but I havn't found anyone who could walk as early as me... I started to walk like 2-3meters un-aided, like between furniture at 4months and was walking completely un-aided at 5months... but it all depends on what you call/classify walking as.
Well, my parents have plenty pictures of me walking at 6 months without being aided outside on a concrete. They said at 5months I began to crawl around like a spider without my knees touching the floor and 1month later I was walking full force, with just a diaper on, holding my own bottle.
At 2 my Dad said I was riding a bike without training wheels and it only took him less than 30 minutes to teach me.
totally believable! my 7mo weighs in at 23lbs and stands 30inches. He is more than capable of standing on his own and "cruising" from couch to couch. I heard that crawling is essential for their learning and development though..the whole cross coordinating and exploring on the floor and if that step is missed it is not good.

@BrookietheKiwi I never crawled and have a degree and vet med certificate and will hopefully be doing my PhD when my children are at school. So no if you miss out crawling it doesn't make you a retard or even close to it.

I walked when I was 7 months old. and my son crawled when he was 41/2 months. who cares if you don't believe the baby is 6 months. it can happen.

babys come in all sizes and reach milestones in all different times my 9 mo. old rolled over at 4 both ways sat up at 5 she started pulling up at 8 mo. and isn't yet walking but i bet she is by 10 point being every babys different and so is every person it is amazing, maybe it isn't a big deal too you snots but it is to the parents who are you to rain on their parade

Ya'll gonna have some bow-legged kids if they are walking so early...6 month old legs are not strong enough to support their weight...especially at 25- 30 lbs.

The bones in his legs are better formed at 12.5 months than at 6 months. They are stronger and sturdier.

6 months walking is very early, but I havn't found anyone who could walk as early as me... I started to walk like 2-3meters un-aided, like between furniture at 4months and was walking completely un-aided at 5months... but it all depends on what you call/classify walking as.

Well, my parents have plenty pictures of me walking at 6 months without being aided outside on a concrete. They said at 5months I began to crawl around like a spider without my knees touching the floor and 1month later I was walking full force, with just a diaper on, holding my own bottle.
At 2 my Dad said I was riding a bike without training wheels and it only took him less than 30 minutes to teach me.

totally believable! my 7mo weighs in at 23lbs and stands 30inches. He is more than capable of standing on his own and "cruising" from couch to couch. We had to baby proof the house early as he can now go where he wants. Just because your baby "didn't do it" don't disrespect these parents for being proud of their childs abilities.

ok so if he is too big for a 6th month old then what do you have to say about the lady who had an almost 20lbs or little over baby?! i very much believe this. my daughter at 3 1/2 months was the same size as most 6 months old and now is five months and the same size as most nine month olds.

My son just turned 8 months, is almost 25 lbs. and just under 30 inches tall. He too was walking at 6 months. This can definitely be a real video of a real 6 month old baby. Jut because you have seen babies smaller doesn't mean babies this size who are this advanced don't exist. I have so many people when we are out try to ask my son questions like he is going to answer them back like he is 18 months old or something. Why don't people believe babies can be this size at this age??

I don't really understand why people have trouble believing this baby can be six months old. Some babies are born bigger then others. My son was 9 lbs 15 oz. My daughter was only 7 lbs 08 oz. He seems soo much bigger at 3 mo then she was. He's much more physically capable then she was.
It has less to do with intelligence then simply physical ability. If a baby can physically do something, he just might.

My daughter didn't even crawl until she was 11 months old, walking at 15 months, but she could say over 50 words by her first birthday. Walking has nothing to do with intelligence, all babies develop at their own pace

Yes you are so right, people focus too much on walking and panic if their baby is not walking by 12 months, I have 4 kids the first walkied at 14 and half months, the 2nd at 17 and half months, 3rd 12 months, and one still to walk,

I can't believe that people can be so hateful and ignorant! Just because the baby appears to bigger doesn't mean that he isn't 6 months old. I have a son that wore size 18-24 months when he was 5 months old and weighed about 25 lbs. He was completely off of the growth charts...so it is possible. He was sitting up by 4 mos, crawling by 5, and cruising furniture by 7 mos. He didn't walk until he was 10 mos but that just shows that babies do things at different times!
