  • This will always take me back to the more original times in hip hop, before the crystal, the "bling". Where YO MTV raps was airing and I was recording it on VHS tapes to watch again and again. You can't do without mp3 now but I loved going to buy new records and CDs and talking face to face with other real hip hop fans .....

  • Back to the back to the back to the back to the back to the back to the back to the HIP HOP!!!

  • CLASSIC!!

  • i gotta put this song in a skate vid before somebody else does....

  • love every second of this track...

  • "Watchin' reruns of Wildstyle dat was my juvenile profile"! Classic joint right there!

  • This was my shit!

  • I wish I was born in 82

    to get crazy loose

    Alongside a low budget turntable

    I’ll be kikin and rippin

    never slippin

Deliverin dense rhymes with unreal precision

  • Back to da Hip Hop and Chillin!!!!

  • But man I cry at this shit.

especially by the part that he says everything is fucked up now so what you wanna do.

damn precisely what I know feel.

but one thing is different LOVE my moms.

üeace to all the real hip hop heads supporting the real ish!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    one L.O.V.E

  • Listen french Hip Hop, NTM "Tout n'est pas Si facile" of 1995, it is the same sample of this song.

The sample is Ethel beatty "It's your love" :).

    Sorry for my English ...

  • @Dturbo23 - It's actually a replay. If you listen to the verse that starts off "8:30 am, class is in session...", you will hear the bassline, and it changes. I was there when they did this track and looking back it was before it's time because they were able to replay something and still keep it gritty like a sample.

  • where/how can i download this song? cant find it anywhere :(

  • @sphinkitown you could use free youtube to mp3 converter;) it's a lot easier man;)

Im not going to call this REAL HIP HOP anymore , but "PURE HIP HOP"- not stepped on-(commercialized).To those who measure an artist by sales are commercialized fans.I guest whatever it takes for someone to "shine" its all good huh? Thats why everbody's music sounds the same. I m not hating on all the artist today but the people that say these cats nowadays are considered the best.

  • @MMAlign uhhhh so how exactly is jay-z a poser?

  • @MMAlign

actually homie to the WHEREABOUTS of hip-hop

puffy and jay were HIP-HOP they were actually dope i mean Jay's REASONALBE DOUBT is a classic but they were also pioneers of like commercialization in hip-hop and they accomplished succesfully look at em now

  • @MMAlign cuz tha kids and suitspay 'em mayne. really ya gotta ask?? oh it was rhetorical lol. sorry

  • @MMAlign Blame the faggot white boys n girls walkin around pretending to be black, going into stores buying over the top bling drenched no-talent chimps claiming to be "rap"...those same dickheads that claim EMINEM is the best thing in hip hop history, purely because he is white.

  • @minhasc NO blame ourselves for years we said take hip hop away from the white large corporate music companies we should earn the money from hip hop, thats all i used to hear and look what happened we got hold of it and fucked it and we will never get it back.

  • @howhardgerrard R u on crack as well, you barely make sense. You claim blacks fucked it up, but whites made it dope? U serious? WTF

  • @minhasc No never touched crack, aswell as what? I think the words which are displayed are easy to make sense of and are quite clear maybe read again. And when you read again you can see that I never said white people made it dope or that blacks people ruined it. The majority of Hip Hop has always been bought by white middle class kids.

  • @minhasc

    dude.

mainstream rap has never been worse.

    ruining our society!
