  • Sweet flow, but United Methodists do it better.

  • is there a place where i can find the lyrics to this & the first one??? i'm a Nazbo in Michigan, & this would be a great thing to show my youth group, but i can't always understand the words in the raps. thanks!

  • Will its aaron

  • yeah that's Clark

  • who wrote that song? i heard it the other day and would like to download it.

great job - love this every time.

  • My youth intern showed this to my youth group....i was laugin and i loved it

  • wswasent as good as the first one but still good...

  • @ft987654321 the first one was funnier but this one was done better. it's still really funny :)

  • Awesome job guys! :D

  • 2 things. Is that Clark Underwood who is dressed up as Satan!?!?!?! cause if it is that's awesome bahah.

and...I love that you got that clip with Ron Benefiel in there from NTS bahahaha. love that man.

  • That is totally Clark...he shot all his own stuff and wrote his verse too.

Ron also wanted to write his own verse, but everything he showed me was just too profane.

  • this one is better, good job i like...

  • Give us the HD version!

  • I grew up in a Naz Church, graduated loma in 1997. Its interesting we had the "Nazbo" term back then.

I wanted to shout out to the group that put this together, It was comical and intelligent I laughed out loud with Ron Benefil and the "Weslyeyan Quadrilateral"! The references to Rook and Caravans are only things that those of us who lived it can and appreciate! The lead female vocalist has a great voice.

Thanks for all of your creativity.

  • I haven't laughed this hard in a long time... simply hillarious

  • Man, if only all evangelicals had such a developed sense of humour! Here's a big hand from your sister college, NTC over in Manchester, UK.

  • There was a boy

    named kevbocheese

But his comments, well, you know

    Please baby please

    Sir KevboCheese

    Your comments really do blow

  • hey man nazarene's ROCK

  • Whoohoo!

    I love it!

    Go Nazbos!

  • Well, I still love you guys and have added you to my favorites! I love it! You should do something for the 100th anniversary! Is it too late to put that together or are you way ahead of me there? I'd share it with our youth pastor our kids would get a kick out of it!

  • Some people from Point Loma, Sand Diego, so probably mostly first church.

  • I looooove these ! haha its sooo great.

    Im a Nazzzzer for life.

I loovee those hair cuts ! haha .

Thats awesome ! What church made this ?

  • oh this is great! i loved the original video but this one was amazing too!!!

  • LOMA! WOOT

  • woow!

  • Nazbos are based on humans opinions, you aren't any better than me.

  • Maybe, but could you have rhymed "Bethlehem radical" with "Wesleyan Quadrilateral?"

    I didn't think so.

  • that is actually a very good point.

  • This is great!!!

Please tell me you hired non Nazbo's to do the dancing!!! Dancing is just wrong!

  • This is gold. I'm so proud!

  • ha ha, well done

  • True.

  • GO NINA, YOU GO GIRL!!!!

  • hha! i love watching this video!!! Love you Uncle Dee and Aunt Kay! mwahh

    -nona

  • Hey Blake (or anyone who knows)...who is that geezer standing in front of the NTS sign?

  • That's Dr. Ron Benefiel, president of Nazarene Theological Seminary, co-founder of MidCity Church of the Nazarene, former PLNU prof and (hopefully) future General Superintendant.

    That's what's up.

  • Yeah, he's definitely a ladder-climber. Reminds me of Busic.

  • haha Busic. what an odd yet awesome man.

I really hope Ron doesn't get voted in to GS and from the way the faculty were talking about at dinner the other night...he doesn't really want to either. NTS needs him right now. Cause so many people wanna shut down the Seminary. That would suck :/

    I love RON

  • Sweet as!

  • And Amazing... lol!!! wow

  • I want this on my ipod too!

  • freakin brilliant. I work at the Nazarene Publishing House in Kansas City and design for Holiness Today. Proud Nazbo son. I want NPH to buy and promote this video. You guys should totally send a dvd of this to me and I'll pimp it big time.

  • Ron Benefiel is my Uncle man. Don't say that crap. Blake awesome video! YOU ROCK!

  • What are you talking about? I've been Nazarene my whole life and I have never dressed like that. My parents are missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene and my mom doesn't dress like that. That is so ridiculous!

  • haha that was awesome! I've been waiting for this for soo long! you should think about getting this into the 100plus Film Fest 100plusfilmfest. com

its run by the church of the Nazarene...

GO NAZBOS! *cough* ONU RULES *cough*

  • love everything about this...especially whoever still has a chippewa t-shirt. thank you!

  • 5,000 views in less than 6 days...that's what I'm talking about.

  • Thats funny how they claim to have read the manaul. I've smoked weed with 2 of the 3 main guys.

  • They claimed to read it, not follow it.

  • so much weed that you've forgotten how to spell "manual"

  • "Manual" is spelled correctly on the Nazarene Manual, so maybe you're the one who's been smoking the grass...

  • Who are you talking to? Me? I was talking to superriorbeing111 because he spelled manual "manaul" So nice try.

  • Thanks for "fresh"ening up the Holiness movement. You guys wanna merge?

    Born and Bred Wesleyan

  • Oh, also, Great job Blake, You're awesome.

  • So how hard was it to shave the Nazarene symbol into that guys head...

  • The seminary is in MO too. It's nothing to do w/ whether or not HQ "will be" in KS or not. Song says, "It all comes back to the big KC" as the state flag of KS flies by. The KC in reference is indeed in MO. Naz HQ has been in KC, MO for decades and will be until the white flight to Lenexa. NTS is also in MO and isn't leaving.

It's cool though: it's but a mistake. The song's still chill. Just don't defend what's not defensible. Only makes the classrooms of the Naz look inadequate & subpar.

  • who cares...just enjoy the video and stop pointing out pointless flaws

  • I meant opening Oct 2008, in celebration of the Nazarene Centennial. Out of many comments, one video...

(it's on the southwesterly courner of 95th and Renner Road if ya'll want to GooglEarth it)

  • Loved this... and techincally ya'll are wrong for telling them they are wrong. The New Headquarters is built in Lenexa, KANSAS. (Opening October 1908).

    oh point loma...

We should book ya'll for General Assembly in 2009!

  • Woohoo...Rook...Nazarene Poker!!!! That's CLASSIC!!!!!! Ya done yer denomination PROUD!

  • The thing with the KC vs Missouri. isn't necessarily wrong i think they are referring to the Theological Seminary (Which is in KC) as main headquarters.

Kinda disappointed in the Nazbo dance by the Devil, in the first one it was much better. It was very well done though so congrats to Blake, and when i see him I'm hugging him for this.

  • Just to clarify for everybody: a friend of mine named John made the comments that are being reacted to below as a joke. As far as I am aware, he was not serious.

Though it would be way funnier if he was.

  • alright, now give me a copy of it so it can be on NutZ TV!! this will fit great with the show and shaun conde's comments

  • ya... get your hands off my nuts... bahaha..

  • that was in response to the nutz tv one... but yeah get it on that shizz... cause it saweet...

  • hahahaha. so wonderful.

  • I think that everyone knows Headquarters is in Kansas City.....being an avid rapper myself putting in time from 8 Mile Road to Malibu, Cali---if they said "Missouri" lots of stuff wouldn't fit......so just pretend everything is in Kansas--and mostly, give props to Blake

  • I love it. And yeah you got the wrong location for HQ. Former employee and everythign in KC is on the Missouri side.

  • Sweet, love it. And I always wondered about Clark . . . .

  • Good work! Headquarters is in Missouri. However, they will be moving to Kansas in a few months.

  • Don't pay attention to stix, he's joking and for some reason he thinks he's funny

  • Great job! So creative and funny. I see this as a satirical look at Nazarenes, this isn't disrespectful. It's all in good fun. I like the part about Rook. I don't know how many times I played Rook for hours at a time on youth trips or retreats. No cards allowed for this Nazarene girl. No dice either. It's hard to play board games when dice has been banned. Great work! They will have to invent a new Caravan badge just for you.

  • I'm sorry, but that statement makes me sick.

God created us all equal. Rap represents blacks, you say? Well classical represents whites, then! Fantastic! Isn't that just great? We have different styles of music.

    Problem?

    No.

If you can't understand that the MESSAGE is what dictates whether or not this is going down the "wrong road", don't watch.

  • Well done for sure!

  • How functionally dichotomist! Well done, gang. I love the Blake.

  • Other than the fact that NazHQ is in KC, MISSOURI, that was classic. Nicely done.

  • It's not our fault that Missouri can't even use its own state when naming its cities...

  • OMG!!!!... amazing!

  • ZOMG amazing...

Blake is my hero, awesome job, i'm honored to have been a part of it!!

  • who says nazarenes can't dance??

  • I have to say, that this was a blast to be a part of, and getting to dress like my grandfather (who was a nazbo pastor) was really fun. Blake & Co; you guys did an amazing job!

  • Blake, you win. Greetings from next door,

    -Greg

  • i wanted to be the first comment lame!!!!

  • But great job! It was very well done!

  • Oh shoot...that just happened.

  • Amazing! Great Job Blake!

  • well let me be the first to say THAT WAS FREAKIN AMAZING and I had a good time watching you guys edit the video night after night in the studio.

    Peace
