thanks for the comments. since this video, we've made some serious leaps and bounds. i've got 4 GT cars that i've converted now. and we all have created a legit track... not just doing oval laps around a towel on the ground..haha. the biggest thing is the tires. dont buy the stock kyosho crap... buy good on-road rally slicks for 1/8 buggies. everything else will fall in place. i've also created a custom carbon fiber radio tray and other mods on my car. will post video of car and racing soon.

Done it - found a newly released 1/8 scale body from Protoform, fits really nice, and less than half the price of a Inferno GT one... i'll post a video soon!

What a great idea you've come up with. I own a couple of XT2's and was think of turnng them into Truggy's, but now i've seen this, i'm 100% gonna switch 'em to (GT's) Watching your video, is it a matter of a new GT body and wheels?
