aye, i know it's been a minute since you posted this and you probably found the solution, but just using nubuck/suede/leather dye would clean it, either one of the 3. it's about 9 dollars a bottle on ebay.

i got my nubuck 12s tht i ball in an theyr faded alittle so wat is i get some Kiwi black shoe scuff cover tht u can get in a wal mart shoe section an jus put in on the nubuck/suede and it'll stay on for acouple weeks if u still have the problem w. ur 23s unless u threw em out already

You have to brush suede and nubuck with a super soft brush when it gets wet until it dries. That will happen to any suede/nubuck shoes.

what i use is baby oil

to clean it up

i pour it on top of the suede with a cotton swab and then spray some water

den just put a towel over it and itl dry up

keeps them fresh like new and deadstock

this works for me not sure about ur 23's
