I replaced the music On Valkyrie Profile 2 :Slimeria, with this, (battle) and when i went to use soul purification, i nearly sh** myself...... epic wasn't even enough to describe it. For achieve is perfect for VP2 in some way..... O.o

This sounds very much like Sakuraba's style in Eternal Sonata, which also contains a great number of fantastic battle themes.

He has a peculiar way of giving the flute an unusually prominent part and having the strings carry his typical progressive rock repetitive riffs. He also tends to use low brass and basses in replacement of a drumset, accented with timpani and cymbal rolls. It's clearly rock music converted to orchestral and not exactly classical, but that gives it a distinct sound.
