Indie rock sometimes incorporates usage of synth sounds; the same computer-generated musical noises you may recognize in some techno tracks. It's just that electric vibe that makes you think it's techno, when really, it isn't.

I hope I came across as a professional individual, more so than the illiterate trolls around here. I love this song as much as you do ;)
