@lisalennonxoxo hank you so much! I used a Canon Rebel XT. Fabulous camera. As for the lighting, I think we just got there at the right time. KEY! I'm not tech savvy but I have a good eye. Also, on top of the Canon camera (almost all of them and Nikons) there is a setting that turns to "night photos". I can't remember, but there is a good chance I turned that on. Usually I leave my camera on Auto..then IT does the work. If I remember anything else, I'll get back to you. Thanks again! :)

It was SO peaceful and quiet. I'm not sure if it is now with all the people visiting. We kind of went right before it got tons of publicity. But you will still love it. The beach and just the whole feeling. You will truly feel likey our walking in the book. I hope you get to go!

Before I went to planed a trip to forks I saw your video before and I was blown away of how beautiful and amazing your video is.I went to forks Wa this year in august for an early b-day gift and I took the twilight tour.I loved the tour and forks.But the best thing of all in the tour was la push (where jacob and his friends go) it was like how i imagine it so beautiful. iI hope to go again next year.

It's amazing...you really do feel like your walking in the book. We had so many kool experiences. The people were super nice and the whole town is really into it. The beauty is beyond words, to be honest, it looks a lot like Ireland as far as how green it is...but the green is a deeper color than Ireland. I have been to Ireland and I LOVED it. Omg. My friend and I took our first roadtrip from Wisconsin to Forks in June of this year. It was the most exciting thing that I have EVER done. We have a bajillion pictures, too. It was absolutely gorgeous and I encourage anybody who hasn't gone and is interested to definitely go. We actually camped. No rain. It was tons and tons of fun. For sure going again next summer. =]

Twilight wasn't even filmed in Forks. It was filmed in the Portland area and the Columbia River Gorge. I'm not sure why it wasn't filmed in Forks, but it should have been.
I do like how Stephanie Meyer uses the names of real local businesses and restaurants in the books instead of making up fictional ones. I'm sure it's been great for the tourism economy there.
im REALLY excited!! i am going to make my way to forks in 4 days!! We are driving there...which is a long way because we live in saskatchewan canada. Last time i tried to go to forks we flew to vancouver BC (cause my grandma lives there) then we drove the rest of the way but we didnt make it (we were on that really scary road that u have to drive on to get there on the mountain...so we went through port angelas but didnt get to forks because of a mud slide) ...so ya we went to seattle instead

heyy i went around the same time they did because i have almost the exact pictures....cause they change the sign in front of what is suppose to be the cullens house like every week so it had to be around the same time.. and there are hotels you can stay at in forks... they even have twilight themed rooms.! you guys should will have a blast if you end up going.! cause ive been twice and each trip gets better and better.! trust me.! :)
Sorry, I just checked my messages and saw this. We stayed at the dew drop in and it was perfect. Right in town and close to everything. We went a year ago this month. The weather was great for us...just a drop of rain (we were lucky) but enough overcaset to get the Twilight feeling. There are 3 beachs and all of them are amazing...but make sure you see 3rd beach! It's the most magical out of all the 3. I hope you have or had a great time!!!!!!!!

We didn't. But the people were really nice letting us take so many photos...they are just typical families letting us stop by. Thanks we were lucky...I will never forget it.
I was going to go sometime this month, but plans fell through. : ( Very sad. My mom's friend who lives up in Washington tore his ACL skiing. Oh well, there's always next year. I miss Washington so much. It's so pretty there. I can't wait to go back sometime. I hope you had fun on your trip!

it truly is beautiful there. i grew up in forks and miss it, up until a couple years ago, a lot of people didnt know the small town forks.twilight is an excellent book, i hope everyone reads the book and gets a chance to experience it.
I loved the photos. I don't have to many from our trip. It was raining, so we didn't bring out the cameras to much. Everyone was great. It is sooo beautiful. I want to go back. My husband says we can as soon as we can save enough to fly. He didn't fare well on the 10 day round trip drive from Texas. We stayed in La Push right off of first beach. Awesome!! We also went to the Makah reservation.

Never in my life could I have imagined Forks, Washington in the way Stephenie Meyer presented it in Twighlight. I lived in Tacoma and only remembered the rain and thinking it wasn't all that special, but thanks to this fine author, I can look at a special town in Washington State with fresh eyes. looks like you had alot of fun, was there a hotel to stay up there and everything? My boyfriend and I are planning a trip there in about a month. Around what time did u go!? Any pointers for us?

heyy i went around the same time they did because i have almost the exact pictures....cause they change the sign in front of what is suppose to be the cullens house like every week so it had to be around the same time.. and there are hotels you can stay at in forks... they even have twilight themed rooms.! you guys should will have a blast if you end up going.! cause ive been twice and each trip gets better and better.! trust me.! :)

Sorry, I just checked my messages and saw this. We stayed at the dew drop in and it was perfect. Right in town and close to everything. We went a year ago this month. The weather was great for us...just a drop of rain (we were lucky) but enough overcaset to get the Twilight feeling. There are 3 beachs and all of them are amazing...but make sure you see 3rd beach! It's the most magical out of all the 3. I hope you have or had a great time!!!!!!!!

omgeee!!! super jealous!!! i have actually been saving a few bucks from each paycheck for a trip to forks in summer 2010 but this video just encouraged me to save more!!! cant wait to go and it looks like you all really enjoyed the trip! beautiful pictures by the way! great video!!!

We didn't. But the people were really nice letting us take so many photos...they are just typical families letting us stop by. Thanks we were lucky...I will never forget it.

I was going to go sometime this month, but plans fell through. : ( Very sad. My mom's friend who lives up in Washington tore his ACL skiing. Oh well, there's always next year. I miss Washington so much. It's so pretty there. I can't wait to go back sometime. I hope you had fun on your trip!

it truly is beautiful there. i grew up in forks and miss it, up until a couple years ago, a lot of people didnt know the small town forks.twilight is an excellent book, i hope everyone reads the book and gets a chance to experience it.

I loved the photos. I don't have to many from our trip. It was raining, so we didn't bring out the cameras to much. Everyone was great. It is sooo beautiful. I want to go back. My husband says we can as soon as we can save enough to fly. He didn't fare well on the 10 day round trip drive from Texas. We stayed in La Push right off of first beach. Awesome!! We also went to the Makah reservation.

Sounds fantastic! I feel the same way, I want to go back but need to save my pennys! :) I bet that was a long drive for you guys! It's strange because it only rained on us for a few minutes. We mostly had a lot of smog which made it really cool! :)

Actually we met the little kids that you see in some of the photos who said they were. hahaha They pointed the way to "Jacob's house" :)

Never in my life could I have imagined Forks, Washington in the way Stephenie Meyer presented it in Twighlight. I lived in Tacoma and only remembered the rain and thinking it wasn't all that special, but thanks to this fine author, I can look at a special town in Washington State with fresh eyes. Thanks for posting the wonderful pictures.
