laughing at your comment, i just phoned my mate, and was like " got this new band, comming over in december, tell ya if the clash and springsteen had of had a kid, this is what it would sound like "
You're probably right... I just said so cuz he was cracking up a whole lot when the beat changes and he says "Why don't we learn this new joint?" I just saw them at the Knitting Factory in Los Angeles, and they weren't drunk at all. They were unbelievable. I strongly recommend you try to watch them live.
Ah, I see. And he actually says "What did we learn in Detroit?" It was easier to hear him there. And I suppose that recommendation is to others? Because I agree, they put on one of the most entertaining shows I have EVER seen, as evidenced in the video.
Brian said at Slim's in SF on April 16 2009 that he doesnt drink, but I read in AP that.. i believe it was Benny who has had some weird intoxicated tour stories. But Brian said he doesnt drink and i dont think the others do except for maybe Benny. One of them, i think it was benny :P Anyways nice vid

These guys are pure rock and roll. Reminds me of Springsteen in the 70s so much. So much energy. Rock on guys!

I like the "Mixing up the medicine" part. How drunk were they during this show?

You know what, from what I could tell they weren't drinking at all. Or hardly at all. Are they known for it?

He's done that every time I've seen them live and in every video I seen. Brian's crazy theatrics.
