the 4 level 60 dragons have specific spawn points - one in ashenvale, one in hinterlands, one in duskwood (I think) and one in feralas (again, I think). Although I think any of them could spawn at any of the points

No, they spawn in the four mentioned places only. You can usually tell if there's a raid dragon near by, as all of the patrolling mobs will be elite level 60-61 dragonkin and usually patrol in groups of 2 and 3.

Next time you're in the Hinterlands, Duskwood, Ashenvale or Ferelas see if you can find them.

sometimes Ysondre is there, and sometimes Emeriss, and the portals doesn't work. It's supposed to port you to The Emerald Dream when you've killed all the world Dragons, but you can access it.
