there are two kinds of bikers.. the ones that already had their crash and the ones that still have to learn... what did you wear at the accident? i also crashed my 125cc at july, never gonna ride without full gear anymore. have fun with the cbr :D gonna get one when im 18 ;)

250r is a great starter bike.. but im starting with a 600. Im 5 foot 7, 145 pounds, small. aha.. but im starting on a 2003 R6. You can start on ANY bike, and as long as u treat it good.. your fine.

it really depends. if you know what youre doing then yes. if you dont, a 250 can kill you too.

So u can´t do pretty much wrong as long as the bike fits u... The R6 fits me perfectly and I love it.^^

yeah maybe u are right... But the only supersport looking bike was a ninja 250r... And I didn´t want to ride something like that... Wouldnt fit me... That´s more like a girls bike...and I´m more like errr.... My shoulder for example are pretty ...?wide?(dont know to express myself quite well thoguh im german, u know? :D)

Well I for myself would start on the R6 again whought the 2003-2005 model is pretty easy to handle!

@FoxD13 r6 is easy to handle if you dont push the limits, but is the most brutal 600 of all bikes and this bike dont forgives any mistakes remember that:)

@TRider09 hahaha trust me. going from a 250 dirt bike to a 600 street bike is a big leap. theres about a 100 horse power difference between your average 250 dirt bike and your average 600 super sport. it would be better go with something smaller like a ninja 650 or something so you can get used to the streets cause its totally different. dirt bikes kinda only give you an idea. if you do go up to a 600 at least you have a feel for 2 wheels.

Sorry to hear about your crash. I started on a Blue Ninja 250R and moved up to a Red 600rr just like you did. I was also stuck between buying a Honda or Kawasaki. I think you are going to be really happy with the Honda. I know I am. Ride safe and look out for crazy old ladies.
