@VengadorX13 Isn't that if you're going by the Japanese kana, changing it directly to romanji. I believe it officially Zidane Tribal in the Japanese version. While Yitan, Gidan, and Djidane are used in the Spanish, Italian, and French versions respectively, if I'm not mistaken. Also the main reason it was translated to Djidane in France is because of the confusion with a French soccer player with the name Zidane. In the other versions his name remains Zidane Tribal.

@VengadorX13 No it's not. Romanji is directly translated from Katakana to roman characters and is used for western people to read Japanese, and is not and actual form of text for writing. The Japanese language uses sounds not letters. So his name, said out loud in Japanese it's pronounced that so since it's sounds instead of letters it's Jitan Toraibaru. It's like Johnathan is Jonasan, it's just the way they pronounce things is how it's written in Romanji which is sounds so his name Is Zidane.

@VengadorX13 So many different versions of his name, in English it is Zidane I know that. :) It's probably Zitan somewhere and Yitan somewhere else they do crazy things when translating. I'm pretty sure it's Zidane in the japanesse version of both FF9 and Dissidia as well. :)
