thanks for the video. After watching this I decided to take down my Kimber super carry custom HD for the first time last night. I couldn't figure out where to put the "paper clip". Taking it down wasn't too bad, but putting it back together was a B****. I ended up scuffing the slide with the slide stop pen trying to put it back together. Sucks :(

But all in all, I love my Kimber! Thanks for the video!

I have the same gun... Do you have any issues with yours?? I've only shot 50rnds out of mine, didn't go to good...

Hey, Thanks for the Video. I just purchased this exact gun after hearing you talk highly about it. I LOVE IT!! Feels great, Shoots great, and Looks great. Your right about the take down, That paper clip is "Kinda messed up!" ha ha. You make it look alot easier then it is. I guess it will get easier the more I do it. Just purchased this one yesterday. Major feeding problem. Slide will not go down on most occasions. Back to factory for Warranty. So much for my first Kimber. I have HK, Springfield, Glock, Kahr and never had such an issue. I know problems occur but I would not expect it on a gun that with a price close to some custom 1911's. Should of bought that Ed Brown yesterday.

Hey, Zippo & Mr45Bullitt are here! Small world. I don't know much about Kimbers. I cut my teeth on an old Colt. What's the primary difference in your opinion? Few other guys I watch have gone Kimber.
