Thanks Rocky that's what I was thinking too but wanted to make sure. I'm use to using canned everything and as I'm starting my weight loss journey I'm going to try and use fresh stuff instead :0)
@toocute2befat I was a big canned person too at one point. I rarely bought fresh veggies but now I kind of crave them. They just make you feel more energized I think.

Rocky - I'm in love with your recipes!! I'm going to make this one night next week. I looked all over your blog the other day for the Marsala recipe after learning how to prepare spaghetti squash, I'm so excited you uploaded it!
I do have a question though. I'm new to cooking with fresh vegetables. When you tossed in the mushrooms you took them right out of the container. Is that safe to do with all of them or do yours say pre-washed or something? Just want to make sure I don't miss anything LOL
@toocute2befat The ones I bought in the container were already cleaned and sliced. If you buy them in bulk though definitely clean them. Some people say a mushroom should never be washed but cleaned down with a damp cloth. I don't have time to wipe down each mushroom so a quick rinse is good enough for me! LOL
