  • So very, very moving and beautiful.

  • @Buf451 Hi. Thank you very much :-)

  • This was played at my pastor and his wife's funeral in November, and your version brought tears to my eyes. He loved the tune, he used it every chance he got, and specified in his will that this version of Rock of Ages was to be sung. Thank you.

  • @svcourt Thank you. I don't mind bringing tears to someone's eyes for the right reason :-)

  • I like the sound you brought in for the last verse...

  • Like this very much, i played it yesterday for a funeral, & it made a complete change to some of the choices i get, you can really let yourself go with the words in this beautiful hymn.

  • @cornwall59 Thank you.

  • Yes; Some years ago Auntie Thora Hird introduced this on BBC 1's Songs of praise. The Liverpool Cathedral choir sang it, the first verse was sung by the little choir boys, beautiful angelic little faces, and it was a magical moment...

  • This is one of my favourite hymns. Thanks for sharing.

  • Nicely played, just as it should be for congregational singing.

  • Thanks, Peter for sharing this one, a really good one!!!

  • Very nicely played Peter, don't often hear this version. Many thanks :-)

  • How lovely. The right tune as well. Thank you very much Peter.

  • @silverstartrucker Arrrh glad I got that right. :-)

  • Yep very nice Pete, I'm sure Mr Dale was singing along! :-)
