My ex-girlfriend and I just broke up about a week ago out of a 4 year relationship. It was her idea, and i couldn't argue about the reasons she gave me...

I'm still very heartbroken, but let me go by saying this: SOME men are not all assholes. I gave my ex 4 good long loving years. I did everything to make her happy, and even at the cost of my own.

This book and movie was the thing she would ALWAYS talk about with her girl-friends. Ive, never seen it, but i would like to know what i did wrong

@blacklovin so after 4 long years, did you ask to marry her? if not, that was probably the reason. in the book, it said "he's not into you if he's not marrying you". You probably seemed just "ok" being in a relationship, but didn't want to fully commit. the book and movie makes women feel like crap. it teaches them to expect perfection and if they don't get it, it must mean the guy doesn't like them.

@EllaKathryn no, i didn't ask her to marry me. but i found out MONTHS after that she was seeing another guy right around the same time she ended the relationship. Just goes to show, how people are willing to throw away the time and devotion spent on their significant other, to start something new. I'm over it now though. She has asked me back countless times, and the answer is always going to remain the same, NO.

i (literally) just finished the book "He's Just Not That into You" and i loved it <3. as soon as i ended it i looked for his vids and here i am.

i found out that i have dated some jerks in my life, i knew it but i didn't recognize it.

If a woman reads the book she can, at least, be familiarized with 3 of the many scenarios on the book. I agree with Greg.

We already have one asshole. We don't need another.
