  • Oh sorry, I misread, I thought you said that "the ballad of dwight fry" was on "welcome to my nightmare."

Wow that nightquil really screwed me up.

  • it was on the movie, but actually on the "love it to death" album.

Personally I think the Melvins and Cooper are equal on those two songs, but some of Alice's stuff could be done better

  • Alice Cooper is only the guy who wrote it. The melvins are who made it worth listening to.

    Same as Halo of Flies.

  • HOW can you say the melvins made it worth listening to LOL...

  • Alice's version is much, much better.

  • Fuck yeah, didn't even know they'd played this. Thanks so much.

  • i love you.

  • yeah you right joe the version from alice is quit good but the voice and the singing of buzz is so fucking awesome! you have to listen to the original studio recording of this cover!!!!!

Btw the melvins did so much god cover-versions ,for exemple:Going Blind by Kiss,Sweet Young Thing by Mudhoney,Youth of america by the Wipers and Interstellar Overdrive by Pink Floyd!!!

  • I agree. Buzz's voice really makes this song.

  • This cover is so much better than the version from Alice!

  • its good, but alices one is fucking incredible

  • no. the melvins play alice cooper songs better than alice cooper does. fact.

  • How dare you!

  • blasphemy and lies! alice doesn't just do a "version" of this song, he completely personifies it!

  • OK! "schoolsuxnuts"

  • YOU GUYS FUCKING SUCK!!

  • LYSOL! :D
