@impasse0124 actually, i think he did write to her because if you see this full episode, earlier on when she is in her room in washington dc, she has a pile of envelopes addressed to her which she keeps looking at and trying to write a letter to jess but just cant figure out what to write. i could be wrong but thats what i remember.

She's sifting through a pile of letters from Dean and it just shows that even though she's gotten tons of letters from her boyfriend, she's not sitting there writing back to him, but instead pondering over what to write to the guy she really wants to be with.

Jess has the wit to match Rory, but he's a still a boy. When he wants something he doesn't think of Rory. He also could have called Rory after they kissed, but Jess always has to have the upperhand, so he left communication at nothing.

Rory was so annoying and such a brat at the start of Season 3. She kisses Jess, told him not to say anything and ran off to Washington without contacting him all summer. Then returned and expected him to put his life on hold and wait for her. Plus she was a terrible girlfriend to Dean and treated him like dirt.

She had absolutely no right to be annoyed at Jess here, while Jess was right to tell her off.

Can you imagine if they did a Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants type buddy film with Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore) and America Ferrera (Ugly Betty) opposite Milo Ventamiglia (Jess) and Freddy Rodriguez (Gio)? Up until the socialist politics of this war in Iraq that kinda movie would've otherwise already come out in 2006 or 07' when both shows were still on the air! Dumb media autistics!
