You have to realise, that there are many rich countries, which struggle with spread of STD's, as well as pauvrety and teenage pregnancy. Difference, is Haiti is not prepared for any of the above hence the problem being bigger. With little to no education about sexuality, or resources for contraceptives (affordable, that is, making them a viable option for those who need it the most -- the poor), the problem isn't the people. Try looking at those in charge in that very society.

If a large portion of the populous is in desperate poverty due to natural disaster, I would turn up in a suit (classic, respectable) not designer tracksuit and accessories. It sends out the wrong message to me certainly. I'm unsure about his motives (re: tax evasion, accusations of charitable funds being funnelled into his personal account) and this doesn't help.

How about getting ALL the people responsible for squandering the money that other countries have have been giving Haiti all those years and excecute them in downtown Port-Au-Prince. Then after that, actually encourage people to get work or just simply leave Haiti all together and look for better opportunities abroad, instead of waiting for OTHER countries to come to the rescue every time something bad happens.
