  • Lovely job, lovely voice, lovely song. Thanks to one of my Scots friends for posting this link for me. Really nice version!

  • Very nice work. You sing it with real passion - this isn't a song for holding back on (as someone with a rather weak, inhibited voice, I envy your ability). This is going straight in my favourites, along with the Pogues.

  • I'll be in good company then, thanks a mil

  • sound a bit like bob dylan

  • nice one. great voice. thanks.

  • does no one know that it is Salford

  • Very very good. The late great Tommy Makem would be proud.

  • great job ive learned ur version alot of other people play it wif different chords but urs sounds right so great job

  • Hmmm... It's OK, but try to strip back some of the light affectations your voice seems to have accumulated. But keep going, you're a genius!

  • Love, love, love this! :)

  • Christ, you sound like fucking Bowie...still kind of works though

  • This is great!

  • I favorited because you did an awesome job. Im kinda dumb, is the strumming pattern up,down,up,down, down?

  • Hey, thanks a lot. The strumming is all over the place, just feel the groove and get into it, good luck!

  • not bad big man

  • Big? What are you saying? lol. Thanks a lot

  • Sitting here with my Claire (age 2) and Ciara (6) and they are singing along. Thanks. A lovely interpretation.

  • That's just great, I'm happy to be of some service

  • Hello Stonebystone;

Your piece is one I come back to when I want to see an easygoing, loping strumming style which makes it look easy. I'm learning... however could you just list the TAB sequence of chords? I'll watch your changes & listen to try and learn.

    Thanks,

    mossymando

  • Hey mossymando, thanks a lot for this feedback. The chords I'm playing are; G, C, G, D, Em. Hope that helps :)
