Yes, we had a great time shooting that episode, driving around the whole island and shooting different locations. yes, the range is about 10 miles max depending on conditions. If you want to keep going you can swap out the battery pack in a few seconds.

i used to dislike the idea of an off - road electric skateboard(weight range size etc...) but now (after i went mountain boarding down a massive hill) i see that it would be amazing on gany surface, making it a cut above the rest, the only thing stopping me get one is cost
