The horn valve on the SD70 narrowcabs tend to leak, which gives them a different sound. It could be that, or it could just be tuned differently. One or the other.
Is this the same NS line that runs thru Edgerton?Have seen alot of NS trains there. On this same day I was in Bowling Green on Liberty HI road at the HCEA national convention
omg! what a video, I live near the tracks in Archbold and let me tell u,the train must go through here like a million times a day! LOL. anyhoo. cool video, come check out mine.
Especially the guy on NS 15N. He was running on approaches, because he was close behind 11G. The signal at Wauseon rose to "Clear" in front of him, and with his long train in tow, he threw it into Notch 8 and slowly accelerated. He also liked the horn apparently.
The NS 072 (CSX Q110) reroute also was running at full throttle. He had almost 10,000 ft of train in tow. Apparently Q118 was also attached to the consist.
What is that horn on 11G (4:07) anyway?

Yes it is! It's one of the busiest lines on the NS system, if not the busiest.

Love the miles of uncovered coiled steel. Ohio sure has some nice rail action. Big NS fan.

Any idea where that 331 train runs to and from? And cool catch at Delta :D

Not sure on the NS 331, but I'd assume it originates at somewhere like Bellevue or Homestead, and heads west towards Elkhart, or something.
Thanks for the compliments!

Ah, my favorite rail line.
Awesome shots, especially the Delta part with the dragsters.
5* and favorited.
Couple nice toots from couple nice engineers too and weird horn for 11G. Entertainment at it's best.

Not a problem! I like the Toledo area! NS and CSX really pump the trains through, which makes it nice!
