This was on ITV1 it was 2:45am and I couldnt sleep so I watched this...I am 15 turning 16 and this was a really good film, i'm pretty sure at 13 we didn't do that, but then there were some people at school acting like this. I realised durning the film Vanessa Hudgens was in this i was like a disney girl in this kinda film...wow.

in conclusion this was REALLY good film with a message, but even for me some scenes were out there.

@blooberflat22 actually its based on Nikki Reed, AKA Evie in the movie, in real life Nikki was the innocent one that went bad, she expierienced this at 13 hence the title. And the ages werent far off Evan Rachel Wood was 14 and Nikki was 16. Nikki wrote it as an autobiography with a film maker who was the producer. And this is whats happening these days, I'm 16 and went through all of that at 14 and 15 but now im over it. I think health classes should watch it, extremely good movie.

The movie got a thumbs down from me because the actresses in this movie are clearly not 13 years old (they look like 16 to 21 year olds) and thus the "shock" value of seeing such bad behavior for 13 year olds fails and the shock value was supposed to make viewers upset about what happened to the girls but it made me think it was fake and I stopped caring about the characters.
