Shouldn't firetrucks be red or something ? and why are all those firemen walking around while there were so many empty firetrucks they could sit in...

Walking in a parade is very traditional. Nothing shows your town support than marching many miles in uniform. I enjoy marching in parades. Fire trucks come in very different styles. Yes, red is the most popular, but everyone likes to be different. Either way they look good... Thats my two cents.

Yellow firetrucks look good, there are a few yellow firetrucks at our local airforce base...they look good and big and stuff :P
