This is a true life story movie guys!!!!!! It was based off of Aileen Wuornos even after she CLEARLY stated she did NOT want movies or books made about her.
My favorite scene in this movie is when she's having the interview with the man who tells her that you just can't wake up one morning from the beach party and decide you want what everyone else has worked hard for without having to work hard yourself (or something like that) and she starts cussing at him and he says, "Gee, I don't know why I didn't hire you before!" LOL
Most bitches are the way they are because someone made them that way. People always make fun of the girl who has no friends and sits alone and talks to no one but not many people think maybe she's been through so much messed up stuff she doesn't trust anyone... I don't think anyone is "born evil". I think it comes from being abused. It doesn't justify killing but it is true that most serial killers had MESSED UP lives.
LMFAO I LOVE WHEN SHE WENT TO GO APPLY FOR THAT JOB AS A PARALEGAL! ROFL! AND SHE HAD THAT BLUE SHIRT WITH A BROWN SKIRT AND BROWN SHOES..lmfao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol... I'm a paralegal. You need a degree and it's a LOT of hard work... Legal field is by far one of the hardest. I can't imagine myself officially passing NALA and belonging to the ABA.
kind of rude how they make movies about her. i was watching some show and they were interviewing her and she said "wow i must really be a star people are making movies and books about me!" but um ive gota clap for charlize theron. no better person can act out the role like she did.they made the hair and every thing really look like aileen wuornos!
Hey man there nothing wrong with basing a movie on a true story. Real life offers something even scarier then hollywood could normally offer horror movies because its true.
I do think it would be nice to put in a dedication to the family of the victims, just to show that the people maing it aren't heartless and realise they are in fact dealing with real events and the effects it had. Making a "based on a true story" film is fine with me, just show a little respect while doing it. See?
When I first saw Tyra or whatever - after watching this movie - I was like "what?!". I still wonder how they chose Christina Ricci... She's a good actress but like you said they don't look a like at ALL. Short hair that's it. lol?
No... It doesn't matter if the specific person is alive or not. Friends and family still sue over things like that. I guarantee they had permission and contracts signed for everything. That's the way it works. They even have to say "based" on a true story opposed to "a true story" because of the same reasons. And as someone who works in the legal field, I always remind people, NEVER say no one can be sued for something. ANYONE can sue ANYONE for ANYTHING. It's about the lawyers, jury, & judge.
yeah when you think about it this is teh grittiest female perofmrance ever. No actress has been this gritty and raw onscreen in a role. It can only compare to male performances like De Niro in Raging Bull and Taxi Driver.
Illuminati=ET kin aka gods, Ea, Sirians, Satan, Pepsi, Zeus, angels/demons, dragons, hulu, vampires, bluebloods, Al Gore, Windsors, Rothschilds, Rockefellars etc who rule cults like Freemasonry. Their agenda: continually cull/victimize people via vaccines/other poisons like gum, Codex Alimentarius, carbon taxes, internet 2, WW3 then stage an alien invasion to get a fascist world government/religion with us chipped. Support DrDeagle, Stewart Swerdlow, gardeners and free-energy techs!
i don't think it's a movie about a woman who started killing people because she was a prostitute... she's just a bewildered woman who had no real luck in her life and eventually lost control. i don't think it's a general statement about prostitution.
@drwunder I agree, I don't think this movie is meant to be surrounding prostitution. I viewed it as a story about the life of a woman who never seems to get a chance in the world, and how she deals with it.

lol, I'm not the only one who thought a whole bunch of quotes from this movie were funny!
Out of respect for the people who died, people should understand things like this need to be told.

Its sick that Hollywood always try to make money out of stuff like this! Its cheap... It's a damn trend now...
And on the other side somebody opens the mouth to speak some decent stuff and tell us about the truth, gets exiled! Just like Charlie Chaplin!

The movie producers did not want to copy Tyra Moore because of legal reasons. They felt she could sue because she is still living.

Um.........there's a positive representation of hookers? I don't think so!!! They don't need one. They're all the same.
MCDahl44 4 years ago
all the same? what's that supposed to mean? they're all human beings (therefore all different), just like you.
