@getcrunked3 I was, for about 5 minutes, then i realized that Winnipeg is getting a great team and the City loves it's hockey!!! The franchise was going down the toliet when it was here in atlanta cuz of the ownership would rather spend money on the Hawks. I loved going to games and im really gonna miss them but I can't be more happier for Winnipeg and the entire province of Manitoba...just hope they have fun with em! So Im hoping that the Jets will let the A$G know what they are missing!!! :)

I was reading some of the comments posted on CBC, and some ppl were complaining about the maple leaf on canadian teams jerseys. I'm kinda split on that issue, I guess its ok, the flames shoulder patches look kinda lame, but that just my 0.02c, btw, the new Jets logo looks great! I can't wait for the next rematch between the Oilers and Jets!

@sutton well if they didnt name it the Jets than that would of pissed of winnepeg and no one would of bought season tickets which in return would mean the NHL franchise moving from winnepeg again cause the CEO said if they dont sell 13,000 season tickets then winnepeg would NOT have a franchise. But the new logo is soo fuckin ugly

well i think this is it, the new logo representing Canada and its Airforce, a central based team that connects both east and west people of our nation. This team almost gives me the feel that its "Canada's" team, and when they play the whole country can watch and root for. Welcome home Jets

I don't understand the connection between the Winnipeg Jets and 17-Wing. I am not trivializing the military here but I think it's way off. There was one design that depicted a jet over the Riel Bridge with a skyline in the background which I think was bang-on.

@joey6250 Pretty much every logo in the NHL has nothing to do with hockey, so what's so different about this one? I think it's pretty cool. What did the old Jets logo have to do with hockey?
