What happened was he kissed her, noticed Jessie had left, during the kiss could only think about Jessie, realized she actually cared for him while all Kimmy did was ignore him, then only kissed him because she was vunerable. They stayed up all night talking about Jessie in a role reversal of what he did to Jessie all year. They passed out that way. The entire second season would be about Nitz trying to win Jessies affections back.

It doesn't look like there is much hope left for a second season. That really irritates me, with all the garbage on TV today a show like this which was so well received got cancelled. It boggles my mind that witty well done shows are axed and replaced by mediocre derivitive bullshit with a bigger budget. Daria, Downtown, Undergrads, Clone High,Mission Hill, etc... All of these shows were able to humorously, and honestly capture the awkward transition to young adulthood...and now they're gone.

I think there's probably a reason Pete didn't go back even when he did have the money after getting a nice Undergrads check.

Personally, it's a cramped environment that doesn't like people who want to write stuff in the vein of this. It's all about wanting to be the next Woody Allen or David Lynch.

However, it's a great way to get internships and find out about more exciting stuff in the city.

Sometimes I don't know if it's worth it. Pete' success had nothing to do with NYU by the way.
