Sorry dude I just picked up a 32GB Touchpad and while WebOS is the OS Android may want to be when it grows up from a UI standpoint it drop kicks WebOS even with Homebrew apps. WebOS was stillborn because of HP. Whether or not their announcement that they are open sourcing it will save it depends on how long it takes HP to get it "out" there. If its later then 1st QT 2012 its doomed as Ice Cream sandwich makes its home on the the Touchpad hardware.

the reason the pads are such a low price is due to the fact hp purchased palm a while back, but saw no market for hardware and webos anymore so they literally ditched palm, they are selling off their hardware cheap, this means when you buy a touchpad (enless palm is rebrought) then webos updates will be unavailable due to the company not going further with webos development.

@ihasmario I dont know why everyone is saying webOS is so great, its garbage compared to honeycomb on my galaxy. Its ugly, really slow at opening applications, and lacks the customization of android. Also, as far as the hardware goes, the screen is yellow looking, its thick, the battery isnt as good as a galaxy, no rear camera/flash, no ports of any use, weighs 30% more than my galaxy, slippery. It is a deal however at $99, but would have paid full price for this? They had no chance.
