@Hairmetaller86 Yes. The name of the singer was Ciccio Pasticcio. I am not sure if he is still around. I have some old 45's with him that my dad collected throughout the years but I did have a tape years ago that I lost. Every song was great on this tape. Thanks for the question. I hope to one day post some of those 45;s. I have some really rare stuff in the collection. There is only 1 other song by Ciccio P. on youtube that I found. It is called 'La Porcella'.

@amicosempre my Italian is not great either,but my mother said he is singing about his beloved donkey. He went looking for it one day and noticed someone shot his donkey and he is basically telling how he found his donkey dead and expressing his sadness. In the old days in Italy a donkey was a working pet and they were too cute. Hope this helps. I was bummed out when I found out what he was singing about too.
