Hi Bart, nice to meet the actual diver! I was given this video 2 years ago from a client who asked me to post as he felt technically challenged. you have one heck of a cool job, what amazing things you do down there! I never gt tired of seeing this video and the amazing things one can see so very far below the surface.

I am Bart Tonckens and i am the diver in the red suit in this video. This job was in Libya on the Dive Support Vessel "Bar Protector" 2004 / 2005 campain. Diving Company was CNS (Coopperativa Nazionale Sommozzatori) from Italy. Man i loved to work with those Italiens, this was one of the nicest jobs i have been on. I am from Holland myself and still do the same work today in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia etc. Living in Malaysia now.

Great video, great song, thanks. I have dived and supervised 200 m plus. The margins at that depth are so slim, 150 m plus dives is for the young guys good on you, only twinsets for bailout ? short umbilicals ?
