  • Both, Irish and Indian music traditionsare based on rhythms.  I have long waited to see a combination. Yes, choreography can be more adaptable but perhaps in a long story telling piece like a musical.

  • I'm a kuchipudi dancer and not too enthusiastic about mixing styles....especially too different styles like irish dance which is a folk dance and kuchipudi which is a classical dance coming from the other side of the globe. The dancers are all well trained no doubt, but what kuchipudi dance, which is so flowing, has to do with a leg-only movement dance where arms are kept down all the time? Anyway....as for "putting irish dance to shame" I wouldn't be so fundamentalist dear hearttodance!
