@cris3712 Yes Balthazar was his brother and friend, yet he also turned on Cas and gave up on him when Cas needed someone to believe and trust in him. This isn't just Cas's fault, he snapped under the weight of trying to do the right thing with no one to support him just this once when he asks. And Balthazar lying to his face just sealed the nails in the coffin because Cas couldn't take it anymore. This is a sad tragedy.
