This is how I wrote music from 1994-2002. Hell, I still prefer text-input tracker-style interfaces to piano roll or note input. Although now I can actually play some instruments (including keyboard).

God this brings back memories. I remember marveling at all the Future Crew demos back in the 90's. Loved to poke around Skaven's and Purple Motion's music in Impulse Tracker and Scream Tracker.

SCREAM TRACKER!!!! OMG I spent my entire adolescant life addicted to this tracker. As we got older we moved onto impulse tracker and eventually we used to use cubic player to play our tracked music along side DJ's at drum'n'bass raves here in England. THE MEMORIES!!

YES SCREAM TRACKER!!! I use to use this very program to make my own songs! Wow.. and Purple Motion / Skaven / FutureCrew were my favourite artists! They inspired me to make short films and come up with my own creative stories for my films. Man.. brings back to many memories.

my friend and I back in the day used to put our 386's side by side and run this demo. He had the SX25, I had the DX25. They ran about the same, but damn if we didn't argue about it. Around '93. Good times.
